Deconstructing a Belief
Take one food, health, weight, or body belief and trace how it became familiar, authoritative, and convincing enough to shape your decisions.
The goal is not to prove that a belief is wrong. It is to separate its sources, context, authority, lived evidence, contradictions, and evidence requirements so the belief can be examined rather than simply inherited.
What you will do
Choose one belief, trace where it gained familiarity and authority, identify the kind of claim it makes, recover the context that may have shaped it, compare it with your lived experience, and decide what evidence would actually be needed to evaluate it.
The final Belief Deconstruction Map turns a familiar idea into something you can see and examine.
