- Environmental value: Was a material diverted, and did the total environmental burden fall?
- Technological value: Does the recovered ingredient improve stability, texture, processing or formulation?
- Nutritional value: What usable nutrients does the finished product provide?
- Clinical value: Has this formulation improved a meaningful human outcome?
None of these answers automatically supplies another.
Before you buy the story
- What material was recovered?
- What does the finished product contain—and at what dose?
- Is the demonstrated value environmental, technological, nutritional or clinical?
- Was this exact formulation and dose tested in humans like me?
- Did the study measure a meaningful outcome—or only composition, laboratory activity or a biomarker?
- How was the research funded, and did independently funded studies find the same result?
- Is this product meeting a need I have actually identified?
- Could an ordinary food or less expensive product meet that need just as well?
The final question: Did this product solve a need in your body—or did its marketing create one?
Method
Company pages document claims, not truth. Government and peer-reviewed evidence are prioritized. Absence of evidence is distinguished from evidence of no effect. By-product origin is not treated as evidence of inferiority, and company motive is not asserted without documentation.
