The practice running through the channel

Notice. Interpret. Contextualize. Locate responsibility. Respond.

A video may concentrate on one step, but the aim is always the same: increase understanding and capacity—not surveillance, obedience, or fear.

Choose the question you are trying to understand. Some collections already contain videos; others show the publishing direction for new episodes and connect you to the written investigation available now.

Notice and interpret

What is my body responding to?

Physiology, hunger, appetite, metabolism, restriction, food noise, and the difference between a body response and a character verdict.

Contextualize

What forces are shaping the choice?

Food design, advertising, cognitive manipulation, wellness claims, algorithms, access, pricing, institutions, and commercial incentives.

Locate responsibility

Who taught me to interpret myself this way?

Family rules, healthcare authority, weight stigma, gender, work, caregiving, trauma, disability, poverty, and the standards that become self-surveillance.

Respond

What would realistic agency and care look like?

Essential care, capacity, support, flexible experiments, values, environmental change, and responses that fit an actual life.

Publishing standard

Every new series should show its role.

New videos will be assigned to one of these pathways and connected to the relevant article, evidence source, or interactive tool. Captions and accessible companion material remain part of the publishing workflow; a missing video does not block access to the written investigation.
